Erik Abrahamsson was the brother of hockey player Karl Abrahamsson. Beginning in 1914, Erik was active in bandy and then as an ice hockey player and was European champion in 1921. In 1925 Abrahamsson and others founded a hockey department in his home club Södertälje SK, and they became Swedish champions that year. From 1921-23 Abrahamsson was Swedish long jump champion. He was appointed “Stor Grabb” # 46 in Athletics.
