In 1917 and 1919-24, Folke Jansson won a total of seven Swedish triple jump titles. He held the Swedish record from 1918-31. In 1928 Jansson was appointed “Stor Grabb” (Big Boys’ Badge) #40 in Athletics. He was also 1921 British AAA champion in the triple jump. Jansson worked as an insurance clerk in Göteborg.
