Biography
Swedish sprinter Eric Lindholm was a three-time national champion and held the Swedish record in 400 metres. In 1910 Lindholm won the Swedish title in the 200 metres and the 400 metres. In the same year he set a national record in the 400 metres, which stood until 1916. In 1912 Lindholm won another Swedish title with victory in the 400 metres.
At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics Lindholm won his heat to reach the semi-finals in the 400 metres. In the 800 metres and the 4 × 400 metres relay, however, he was eliminated in the opening heats in each race. Lindholm was also listed to run in the 100 metres and the 200 metres but did not start in either event.
