Johann Bartl was a Czechoslovakian sprinter who represented ASG Brünn. Bartl ran in the 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres, and the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals in the 400 metres. Little is known about Bartl’s later life, but it is believed that he died between 1939 and 1945.
