Kemal Horulu was a versatile runner over 400 metres and 400 metre hurdles in the year immediately following World War II although he never qualified out of his opening heat in any of his Olympic races.After beginning his post-athletics career in Turkish cinema, Horulu had more success after leaving for the USA where he forged a career as a director, producer and screenwriter in the pornographic film industry. His triumphs included such films as “Lustful Feelings,” “The All-American Honeymoon,” and “Blue Ecstasy in New York”. He died in San Francisco at the age of 65.
