Biography

In the 100 hurdles at the 1976 Olympics, Nataliya Lebedeva was edged out of gold by 0.03 seconds and silver by 0.02 seconds. Besides her Olympic bronze, she won a 60 hurdles silver at the 1976 European Indoor Championships, 100 hurdles silver at the 1977 European Cup, 100 hurdles bronze at the 1973 and 1977 Universiade, bronzes at the 1973 and 1975 European Cups, and 60 hurdles bronze at the 1980 European Indoor Championships. She was also seventh in the 100 hurdles at the 1974 European Championships. Lebedeva was Soviet high hurdles champion in 1974-75 and 4x100 relay champion in 1977.
