A javelin thrower, RaNae Bair attended San Diego State and competed for the San Diego Track & Field Association. She won the 1964 US Olympic Trials, was a four-time National Champion (1964-67), won the 1967 Universiade, and was a silver medalist at the 1967 Pan American Games. Bair set five US records with the javelin from 1964-67. Married to former middle distance runner Bob Seaman, she later became a teacher and a coach.
