Biography
Julie Isphording was a surprise qualifier for the 1984 Olympic team in the marathon. She later also made the US marathon team for the 1986 Goodwill Games, where she placed 10th. Isphording ran for the Reebok Racing Club, and later became a journalist, a motivational speaker, and a radio talk-show host. She also works in public relations and helps organize road races near her native Cincinnati.
