A 400 metre specialist, Natasha Kaiser-Brown shone internationally mostly in the 4x400 relay. In that event, she won a silver medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, and added golds at the 1993 World Championships, the 1989 World University Games, and 1991 Pan American Games. She also won three silver medals at the World Championships, in the 4x400 in 1991 and 1997, and in the open 400 in 1993.
Kaiser-Brown attended the University of Missouri, winning the 1989 NCAA indoor title at 400 metres and finishing second in the 400 outdoors. She won her only USA outdoor title in 1997 in the 400. She married Brian Brown, 1989 USA champion in the high jump.
Kaiser-Brown later went into coaching, eventually returning to Missouri where she coached sprints, hurdles, and relays. The Mizzou top team award in track & field was named in her honor, the Natasha Kaiser-Brown Award, given annually to the most outstanding performer on the woman’s team.
