Biography

Pam Marshall ran the 200 metres at the 1988 Seoul Olympics but did not get past the first round. She was a three-time US National Champion, winning titles in the 200 in 1986-87 and the 100 in 1986. She won gold with the US 4x100 relay team at the 1987 World Championships. She also competed in the 100 and 200 at that meet, placing fourth in the 200 and eighth in the 100.

Marshall was world ranked four times in the 200 from 1986-89, ranking fourth in 1987. She was world ranked twice in the 100, with a best of fourth in 1986. In the US rankings, she was ranked five times in the 200 with bests of #2 in 1987 and #3 in 1985-86. Marshall also ran the 400, posting a sub-50 best of 49.99 in May 1986.

Personal Best: 200 – 21.93 (1988).
