Bernice Robinson ran for the Washington Park Track Club. She won three national titles, the AAU Outdoor 80 metre hurdles in 1948-49, and the AAU Indoor 50 yard hurdles in 1949. She also won the 1948 Olympic Trials in the high hurdles, which doubled as the AAU Meet. Robinson-Holland continued to compete in masters’ track & field into the 21st century. Living in Cleveland later in life, Robinson-Holland became a weight thrower as a master, setting records in the shot put, discus, and javelin throws at the Masters Pan American Games in the early 1980s.
