Terry Beucher threw the javelin for the University of Kansas from 1958-60 and later the US Air Force. While at Kansas, he finished third in the javelin in the 1960 NCAA Championship, and was fifth that year in the AAU Meet. Beucher was an NCAA All-American in 1960.
