Biography

Ed Broxterman was a high jumper who competed at the 1996 Olympics. He attended Kansas State University, where he also played basketball. Broxterman was somewhat of an unknown when he made the US team in 1996, as he never placed at the NCAA Meet, and his only placement at the US Nationals was his second place finish in the Olympic Trials. Broxterman later worked as a business manager for Westar Energy in Kansas, after working in real estate for over a decade.
