Tom Campbell attended Yale and later earned a law degree from Columbia in 1926. He won the AAU 880y in 1918 and also placed third in 1920 and second in 1922 in that event. In 1921 he won the Oxbridge vs. Harvard/Yale meet in the 880. He later practiced as an attorney.
