George Chisholm ran hurdles for Yale, after running at Philips Exeter in prep school. He was IC4A champion over the 120 yard hurdles in 1910-11. In the 220 yard hurdles, he was IC4A champion in 1911 and runner-up in 1910. Chisholm won the hurdles at the 1910 Yale-Harvard vs Oxbridge meet. He initially retired after his college graduation in 1911, but came back to make the 1912 Olympic team. He later returned to his home of North Attleboro, Massachusetts where he ran the family factory, the Bugbee & Niles Company, a large manufacturer of gold goods, but he died at a young age.
