Frank Conner won the AAU hammer throw title in 1932, and also won the Olympic Trials that year. He was runner-up in the AAU 56-lb. weight throw in 1932 as well. Connor was IC4A champion in the hammer for Yale in 1930-31 after graduating from The Hill School in Philadelphia in 1927. Conner later became a farmer in the San Joaquin Valley of California.
