George Cornetta ran distances for the NYAC, and was third in the 1920 Olympic Trials 10K. He attended Fordham Medical College as a medical student at the time of World War I, but apparently did not become a doctor. Various official documents list him as working as a paper manager for the International Folding Box Company in North Bergen, New Jersey.
