Marco Evoniuk competed 19 times for the United States in major international meets. In addition to the 1984-92 Olympics, he represented the US at the 1979 (winning bronze) and 1983 Pan American Games, the 1983-91 World Championships, and competed at both the World Cup and Universiade several times. He won the TAC 50 km. walk four times – 1978-79, 1983, and 1986, and also won the TAC walk at 30 km. in 1983 and 35 km. in 1982.
