Biography

Jeff Fishback was a steeplechaser who was AAU champion in 1964. He also finished second in 1965 and third in 1963 at the AAUs. He was runner-up in the 1962 NCAAs for San Jose State and was third in 1963. He won the 1964 Bay-to-Breakers race, setting the course record. Fishback became a high school math teacher and track coach in Cupertino, California. He also became a top competitive badminton player and coached the Los Gatos HS badminton team.

Personal Bests: Steeplechase – 8:40.4 (1964); 2 miles – 9:03.2 (1962); 5K – 14:32.8 (1962).
