Biography

Leo Goehring was born to German parents in New York. He competed for the Mohawk AC in the standing jumps. At the 1912 Olympics he placed equal fourth in the standing high jump and equal fifth in the standing long jump. Little else is known of his life. In the 1930s and early 1940s he worked as a clerk for the Washburn Wire Company in Lake Luzerne, New York.

Personal Bests: sHJ – 1.60 (5-3) (1912); sLJ – 3.17 (10-5) (1912).
