Dick Hart ran distances for Penn and later the Philly Collegiate T&F Club and Philadelphia AC. He was AAU 5K champion in 1956 and won the 6-miles in 1955. At the NCAAs, he was fifth in the 1950 2-miles. He graduated from Penn in 1950 with a degree in mechanical engineering.
