Biography

Andy Kaestner raced the 50 km walk for the US at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Kaestner attended college at the University of Wisconsin at Parkside, where he won an NAIA walk title. Kaestner was ranked in the US top 10 in the 50K walk in 1987-88, and in the 20K walk in 1985 and 1988. He later became an account supervisor with Quick Cable Corporation in Franksville, Wisconsin. Kaestner was inducted into the Racine County Sports Hall of Fame.
