Leo Larrivee was a middle distance runner for Holy Cross and the Boston AA. After graduating in 1925 from Holy Cross, Larrivee enrolled in medical school at Loyola of Chicago. He also worked there as an assistant track coach. In October 1928 Larrivee and six companions were going to a dance one evening, when they were in an automobile accident. Larrivee and all on board were killed. A memorial trophy was given in his name for the 2-mile race at the Boston Knights of Columbus indoor meet.
