Emil Muller was AAU discus champion in 1912-14 and 1918. He competed for the Irish-American AC and the NYAC. Muller was also Metropolitan AAU Champion in 1913, defeating Martin Sheridan, who had come out of retirement to compete in the event. Muller was a native of Paterson, New Jersey who later worked as an automobilist and then worked in Trenton at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
