Bill Richardson placed second in the 1925 NCAA 880 y for Stanford. He won the 1924 Olympic Trials in the 800 and placed fifth in the final at the Paris Olympics. Richardson was in the US top 10 lists for the 880 yards from 1924-26, ranking sixth in 1926.
