Biography

August Banščak was a Serbian track and field athlete who represented PSK in Pančevo. Internationally Banščak competed for Yugoslavia and was selected to run in the 400 metres hurdles at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He finished last in his heat, however, and was eliminated from the competition.

Personal Best: 400H – 56.3 (1937).
