Biography
Austrian sprinter Ferdinand Kaindl was entered in the 100 metres and the 4x100 metre relay but did not start either event. Until recently he has been listed as finishing third in heat three of the 100 metres but evidence from 1924 French newspapers reveals that he did not start. The following year he won the Austrian 100 metres title. Kaindl also performed in the long jump with unknown results.
