Biography
Georgios Papachristou competed for the Greek tug-of-war team at the 1906 Athina Olympics. The team represented the Omas Helliniki Peraikos Syndesmos, and won a silver medal. The team defeated Sweden in the first round before losing to Germany in the final match. Papachristou also competed in athletics, in the stone throw and discus throw.
