Mihály Dávid competed for BEAC between 1905-1908 and then moved to BBTE. By the time of commemoration, he was the most powerful athlete of his time. His artified sports are: discus throwing, shot putting, hammer throwing and javelin throwing. At the Olympic Games in 1906, he won a silver in shot put (11.83 m). He also participated in discus, antique-style discus javelin, but there he was not able to attain a medal. He won nearly 100 prizes during his sporting carrier. In addition to the Hungarian and Austrian championships, he also hit German records. His was a doctor by profession and later worked as ministerial counsellor.
