Eli Parsons ran for Yale and the NYAC. He won the AAU indoors at 600 y in 1906-07. He was also 1904 IC4A Champion over 880 yards, and in 1905 he anchored a 2-mile relay team that won the Penn Relays. Parsons set an indoor world record for 880 yards, running 1:54.6 in 1904. Parsons later joined the Navy and became a career military officer.
