Michèle Angirany had a relatively brief career in cross-country skiing. A member of the Ski Club de Lompnes, she first gained national attention in 1950, when she came in second in the 10 kilometer event at the French National Championships. Training with four-time Olympian Benoît Carrara, she was a member of the national team from 1950 through 1952 and represented her country in the 10 km at the 1952 Oslo Olympics. There she placed 18th out of 20 entrants. She retired from active competition shortly thereafter, but remained involved with skiing for the rest of her life.
