Biography

Nancy Bell-Johnstone was on the US biathlon team from the late 1980s thru the 1992 Winter Olympics. She skied on the US team that won the relay at the 1988 World Championships, prior to women competing in the sport at the Olympics. Bell-Johnstone was the 1991 North American Champion and was runner-up that year at the 1991 Rocky Mountain Cup. She is also a rock climber and mountaineer, as is her husband, Hans Johnstone, a 1988 US Olympic biathlete. Together they both run the Alpine House Bed & Breakfast in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
