Biography

Austrian alpine skier Ingrid Eberle participated in the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics. She placed sixth in the downhill event as her best result. Eberle won the bronze medal in the non-Olympic alpine combined, which were held as a World Championship event. Eberle won two national titles, in the 1980 giant slalom and 1982 alpine combination. She later ran a sports shop at Bregenz.
