Biography

Abbi Fisher went to Stratton Mountain High School, but after that joined the US Ski Team, skiing in World Cup races from 1974-82. She won one World Cup race, a slalom in 1978, but had three podium finishes and 32 top 10s in the World Cup. Her best overall World Cup season was 1977-78 when she was ranked 15th overall. Fisher competed at the 1978 World Championships, in addition to the 1976 and 1980 Olympics. She later settled near Sun Valley, Idaho, where she became a ski instructor and coach, in addition to raising a family.
