Edouard Siebert of Genève competed in the middleweight class of the boxing tournament at the 1924 Paris Olympics, losing his lone bout to the eventual gold medallist Harry Mallin of Great Britain. He was later the Swiss amateur middleweight boxing champion in 1927 and 1928, and embarked on a professional career starting in 1929, debuting against Georges Moreau of Lyon, France. He continued to fight as a professional, mostly in his hometown of Genève, until 1934, amassing a record of 8-1-2.
