Maura Haponski

Maura Haponski was US junior champion in luge in 1973 and 1974. In senior competition she was second in the US in 1974 and 1975. She later graduated from Yale in 1978 and became a bank vice-president for large commercial banks in California. Haponski then turned to marketing, starting her own company, and then worked with public broadcasting, first in San Diego, and then consulting for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
