Biography
Krista Schmidinger and her twin sister, Kim, grew up skiing in Lee, Massachusetts. Kim was also on the 1992 Winter Olympic team, but could not compete because of injuries. Krista skied for six years on the World Cup circuit, posting four top 10s, all in downhill. Both later moved to Banner Elk, North Carolina, where they have worked promoting the Sugar Mountain Ski Resort.
