Biography

Laura Wilson was a cross-country skier who competed at the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics. Wilson started out as an Alpine skier, but converted to cross-country and became a four-time US junior champion. She would later win five US senior titles. Wilson attended the University of Vermont where she won four NCAA individual titles, winning in both freestyle and classical in 1990-91, made first-team All-American all four years, and led the Catamounts to the NCAA team title in 1990. Wilson was inducted into the University of Vermont Hall of Fame in 2001 and the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame in 2015.
