Biography
Aleksejs Auziņš was a fast skating center who played for Latvia at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Winter Olympics, and also played at the 1935 and 1938 World Championships. Auziņš skated for Rīga City and, later in his career, for Daugava Rīga, winning five Latvian titles between 1937 and 1957. He played into the late 1950s and also became a trainer for both football and ice hockey.
