Dan Bolduc skated for Harvard University graduating in 1975 before playing for the US Olympic team in 1976. Bolduc immediately went to the World Hockey Association, playing in 1975-76 with the New England Whalers. He played for them for parts of three seasons (1975-78), also jumping up and down for a few years to the American Hockey League, where he played with the Rhode Island Reds, the Springfield Indians, the Adirondack Red Wings, the Nova Scotia Voyageurs, and the Moncton Golden Flames. In 1978-80 and 1983-84, Bolduc also had a brief career in the NHL, playing with the Detroit Red Wings (1978-80) and the Calgary Flames (1983-84), appearing in 102 games. He also played for parts of two seasons in the Central Hockey League with the Colorado Flames.
