Andreas Brockmann was an ice hockey defender who competed at the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics with the German team. In total, he won 42 international caps, scored nine goas, and played in the 1992 World Championships.
Domestically, Brockmann played with EC Bad Tölz (until 1987), BSC Preußen Berlin (1985-88), Düsseldorfer EG (1988-97 and 1999-2000), Heilbronner EC (1997-98), Eisbären Berlin (1998-99), and SC Riessersee (2000-01). He won the German national title with Düsseldorf four years in a row 1990-93, and again in 1996. After his active career he enjoyed a coaching career with Landshut Cannibals, Nürnberg Ice Tigers, EV Landshut, ESV Kaufbeuren, and Dresdner Eislöwen.
