Bill Carow was US Champion in the 20K biathlon in 1982. He competed for the US in two Winter Olympics and six World Championships. Carow graduated from Dartmouth in 1980, playing three sports – soccer, skiing, and baseball. A Renaissance man, Carow also played French horn in the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra and later played with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra.
