During his career, Yevgeny Feofanov won Olympic bronze in 1960, silver at the 1961 European Championships and was Soviet champion in 1960. He also won two silvers (1958, 1959) and three bronzes (1956, 1957 and 1961) at the Soviet Championships. After his sporting career, Feofanov worked as a boxing coach in Moscow. He later worked as a children’s coach and became the president of a children’s boxing club in Moscow that bears his name.
