Swiss ice hockey player Rolf Diethelm represented SC Bern from 1958 to 1966 where he won the league title in 1959 and 1965. For the 1967–68 season Diethelm joined HC La Chaux-de-Fonds, winning his third league title, before rejoining SC Bern for two final seasons. He made 23 appearances with the national team, including seven matches at the 1964 Innsbruck Olympics where he scored two goals. By 1968 he had retired from the sport and returned to his day job of a designer in civil engineering.
