Biography
Stefan Dotzler was a West German cross-country skier who participated in the 1984 Sarajevo and the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics with limited success. His best result was the sixth place with the 4x10 km relay at Sarajevo. In 1983 he earned his only podium in a World Cup race, placing third over 15 km at Reit im Winkel. Dotzler later turned to coaching, and among his pupils were his son Hannes and daughter, non-Olympian Sabine Dotzler. Stefan Dotzler was a coaching member of the German customs skiing team.
