Gérald “Jerry” Dupuis was a member of the Canadian team in St. Moritz in 1928, where he placed 15th in ski jumping. He was the only French-Canadian competing in these Winter Olympics. The following year he was Canadian Champion. Dupuis attended the University of Ottawa and graduated in pharmacy from York University in Toronto. Later he owned a drugstore in Ottawa. During World War II, he served as a major in the Regiment de Hull. He was also an accomplished musician.
