Biography

Swedish ski-jumper Kurt Elimä competed during the 1960s, winning five national titles (1963–65, 1967, 1969). Elimä started his career representing Malmbergets AIF in Gällivare and was selected to represent Sweden at the 1964 Innsbruck Olympics. He managed a top-ten finish with seventh on the normal hill, along with 29th on the large hill. He then switched clubs with him joining IFK Kiruna. Elimä competed at the 1968 Grenoble Olympics but his results were disappointing where he finished 37th in both the normal and large hill events.
