Doug Everett was one of the great defensemen in Dartmouth history. He graduated from the New Hampshire school in 1926 and played as an amateur with the Boston University Club and the Concord (NH) Hockey Club before joining the 1932 Olympic team. By the time of the 1932 Olympics, Everett had already begun his career as a banker He continued this after the Olympics and was quite successful, serving as chairman of the board of Merrill & Everett, Inc., and the New Hampshire Savings Bank until the late 70s. The ice rink in his hometown of Concord, NH is named after him.
