Bob Gaudreau skated for Brown University, graduating in 1966, and later attended graduate school at Columbia University. Gaudreau was an All-American at Brown in 1966. He played for the US National team in 1967-68, and also played a bit that season for the Minnesota Nationals of the US Hockey League.
After college Gaudreau earned a masters’ degree in business at Columbia University. He then had a 50+ year career running his own business as a real estate developer. Gaudreau’s son, Rob, later played for the US National team at the 1990 World Junior Championships and the 1993 World Championships, and played from 1992-96 in the NHL with San Jose and Ottawa.
