A goalie, Goodwin Harding played for Harvard. A member of the class of 1943, he joined the military, returning to play the 1947-48 season with the Crimson, prior to being named to the 1948 US Winter Olympic team. He played in all eight games for the US at the St. Moritz Olympics, winning five, and allowing 33 goals, for a 4.13 GAA. Harding was inducted into the Harvard Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 1972. He died very young, after suffering for several years from a chronic illness.
